Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is just breathtaking. Walking through the grounds feels like being transported to another world, surrounded by stunning tropical plants, gorgeous flowers, and some of the most magnificent, awe-inspiring trees you will ever see If you have kids, the children's area is truly phenomenal and keeps them thoroughly engaged. The entire property is meticulously maintained, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this place is an absolute must-visit. I cannot recommend it enough!

A break from the urban landscape, these are very beautiful gardens. The banyan trees are massive and the playground/walking paths within them were very well done. The waterfront and bonsai exhibit was also beautiful. It took us about 2 hours to get through. There are water stations around the gardens, bring a reusable water bottle as it can get very hot.

Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit! The gardens are stunning, with an incredible variety of tropical plants, orchids, and colorful flowers. Everything is beautifully maintained, and there are plenty of peaceful paths to explore. The views of Sarasota Bay make the experience even more special. Itβs a wonderful place for visitors of all ages and a perfect way to spend a relaxing few hours. We loved every minute and would definitely come back!

Positives: Thereβs abundant near by parking and the gardens seem well maintained. The value to size seems disproportionate though. $28 for a single adult ticket I expected that it would take me more than 30 minutes to stroll through the garden (and that was stopping to take photos). Iβm sure itβs expensive to maintain being waterfront and downtown but realistically in any other location this is a $10-12 botanical garden.

We decided to visit this establishment being in the area visiting. What a fabulous hidden gem this place is. After speaking with Reilly at the ticket counter, we decided not to just buy tickets but become members. After Reilly answered our questions and she also informed us about our membership plan. She was so charming and professional what a great employee working at this great Botanical Garden. There are plenty of clean restrooms and a couple of restaurants here for a good bite to eat. We had so much fun to view the different displays of plants, trees and coastal areas. Fine artifacts are everywhere, and plenty of indoor areas to visit. We look forward on visiting again and again, thank you for having this place available for all age groups to enjoy.
